Services

Counselors serve as a resource and academic support service to students, parents/guardians, and staff and are an integral part of the total educational enterprise. Counselors meet the needs of students by helping them:

  • Become more aware of who they are and how to interact with others
  • Develop competencies in career development and life planning

Mentoring / Tutoring Resources

ENLACE New Mexico strives to increase college readiness, retention, and graduation through mentoring and leadership training for students. The program is an initiative that works collaboratively with APS and community allies to provide programs for students and families to improve high school and college graduation rates. The program provides its undergraduate and graduate mentors with leadership and professional development training that is ultimately passed down to high school students in the form of mentoring, academic support, and training. The mentors are trained to encourage and motivate their students by becoming role models, and by providing leadership and college preparation workshops, guidance, academic support, and other activities, with the goal of helping each student succeed. Please visit ENLACE! We are located in D-2.
