Please disregard any previous information about schedule changes and we will provide updates as soon as they are available. We thank you kindly for your patience!

What is Young Adult Literature?!

We as your reluctant hosts (lifelong educators, middle and high school teachers, and total YA reading book nerds) know the magic of finding the right book for the right kid, and as adults we continue to find those books together. The crisis makes us want to share this magic with you. We will provide a rapid-fire 45-minute session to book talk new books each week. The trick to keeping teens reading in a closure is knowing what you need to recommend.

Free Access to Books online

Albuquerque and Bernalillo Public Library will issue new library cards over the phone. Students just need to call 505-768-5141 Mon-Fri from 10am-4pm. The librarian will gather their info and issue a Digital Access card which allows users full access to all the digital resources the public library has to offer. As long as the student can provide all info needed, they do not need to have a parent call for them. Check out their website here: abqlibrary.org
